Whatever color you want is "the New black"

This summer bright and pretty nail polish will take over! Not many people put too much thought about nail color and how it coincides with the outfit you’re wearing, but you’d be surprised at what a little thing as painting your nails can do for your image. Not only is it fun to get your nails done, but it instantly makes you look cleaned up and professional, even if you’re wearing a tiffany blue! Try to step away from the “pro nails” and be natural this summer! It costs nothing to get your nails touched up at home after a day at the beach! Red is always a classic and you can never go wrong with it, but why not step out of the box and try Periwinkle?! Or Mauve? Last season Chanel introduced us to the Jade nail color, (which I will still wear no matter what season it is! ) and the soft mint shade was seen by the likes of Kate Moss and Keira Knightley.

This summers “it” color is, surprisingly enough, Taupe! Taupe is a soft, sort of muted brown/beige which was seen in Chanel’s Spring runway. Taupe is a shade that can be worn with any outfit because it doesn’t overpower your hands or what you’re wearing. It’s warm neutral shade will blend perfectly with pale breezy linens and soft comfy cottons ALL year long.

If taupe or jade are not your colors, than that’s okay! Choosing a nail color to try is like choosing clothes also. In the winter, people tend to wear warmer tones, like maroon, reds, purples, greys and black. In the spring and summer, people tend to wear cooler tones, like pastels! Choosing a nail color can be the same way if you want it to!

My picks for the warmer seasons are :

Chanel “particuliere"

Essie-”boat house”

American Apparel- “office”

Bleach black-”jizz”

OPI- “Java Mauve“

OPI Brights- "Blue My Mind"

Chanel- “Orange Fizz”
